3 Hour DAYTIME kayak TOUR
Launch directly from our Skaland basecamp into the Bergsøyan archipelago, where turquoise, crystal-clear waters meet pristine white-sandy beaches.
This tour is suitable for beginners and intermediate paddlers. You’ll explore the coastline in a double sea kayak (single kayaks may be available on request, subject to approval and skill level), with on-water coaching and wildlife and landscape insights along the way.
Our experienced guides prioritize safety, skill-building, and environmental respect, delivering a fun and informative experience as you discover one of Senja’s most breathtaking spot from the water.

Period
From the middle of May to the end of September, every day: 09:30 – 12:30 and 15:00 – 18:00.
Group size
We keep our group sizes small—no more than 8 kayakers—to ensure a more personal and enjoyable experience.
Duration
3 hours in total (around 2.5 hours of kayaking).
Age
From 14 year old accompanied by a parent. Please contact us for private requests or younger families.

• Local and NPF certified sea kayak instructor.

Location
Our Basecamp and meeting point are located in the centre of Skaland. You can park right there. From there we will change and start kayaking from our kayak specialized floating pier in the Skaland Marina.
Weather conditions
We operate our tours and courses in a range of weather conditions, including rain and less-than-ideal weather. However, if wind or severe weather poses a safety risk, we will cancel the activity and provide a full refund.
